Preview - Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

I found this great article previewing the latest in Star Wars games. Check it out! Ooooowwweeee, I got goose bumps already. The pics look sweet and the game sounds hot.

"The Force Unleashed casts you as Darth Vader’s secret apprentice, tasked with carrying out his dirty work all over the universe and scouring the last remaining Jedi from their boltholes, all the while keeping your existence secret from the Emperor. That means no survivors, and since the game is set in the gap between Episodes III and IV while the Jedi scramble to escape the Empire, there are plenty of insufferable do-gooders to terminate."

Inner Geeks - A new site brought to you by NC*Techno.Girl

NC*Techno.Girl - find your inner geek

Hi! This is Simone from NC*Techno.Girl; I have decided to venture out and truly find my inner geek. It is my hope that you will tag along and maybe, just maybe, you will find yours too.

So what exactly is a "geek"?
Here are a few definitions found on the wonderful wide web:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geek
The definition of geek has changed considerably over time, and there is no longer a definitive modern meaning. Here are some of the many definitions:
  • A person who is interested in technology, especially computing and new media. Most geeks are adept with computers, and treat the term hacker as a term of respect, but not all are hackers themselves.
  • A person who relates academic subjects to the real world outside of academic studies; for example, using multivariate calculus to determine how they should correctly optimize the dimensions of a pan to bake a cake.
  • A person who has chosen concentration rather than conformity; one who pursues skill (especially technical skill) and imagination, not mainstream social acceptance.
  • A person with a devotion to something in a way that places him or her outside the mainstream. This could be due to the intensity, depth, or subject of their interest. This definition is very broad but because many of these interests have mainstream endorsement and acceptance, the inclusion of some genres as "geeky" is heavily debated.
Persons have been labeled as or chosen to identify as mathematics geeks, engineering geeks, sci-fi geeks, computer geeks, various science geeks, movie and film geeks (cinephile), comic book geeks, theatre geeks, history geeks, gamer geeks, music geeks, art geeks, philosophy geeks, and literature/rp geeks.
I am definitely a member of the Geek Squad *giggle*. Tell me about your inner geek.

Join us in this journey to find our inner geek.
